Three prompts once a week: what was good, what was heavy, one thing you will do next week. You write on your phone and your spouse writes on theirs, and once you have both finished, each of you reads the other's. Sunday is the habit, and any day of the week counts.
Fifteen devotionals, chapter and verse
Fourteen on the Devotional tab and a verse of the week on Today. Each is built on a passage from the World English Bible, a public-domain translation, so the quoted words are a published translation's and not ours. Every card names its passage, and Settings lists all fifteen references in one place. Each reading closes on something to do rather than something to feel.
Read this aloud, never a paid extra
Every devotional has a Read this aloud button. Your phone's own voice reads the passage, the reflection and the reference, which helps when you are worn out, driving, or simply take things in better by ear. It is not part of Pro.
Ask, don't nag
One tap on Today asks your spouse to open the day's reading, and they see it the next time they open Onefold. Onefold sends no phone notifications and never asks permission to, and the card says so instead of implying a buzz that is never coming.
Sixty-three conversations, answered side by side
The question library holds eight decks: This week, Forgiveness, Money & home, Family, Our covenant, Around the table, Closeness and The road ahead. Choose any conversation. Your husband or wife answers on their phone, you answer on yours, and you read each other once both answers are in, on whatever day the second one lands. Today adds one question a day that works the same way, and everything you have both answered is filed in Our Record.
Connecting is your call
Signing in connects you to no one. When you want to, choose Send my spouse an invite, then Create an invite code. Your phone makes the code. It is good for a single use, lapses after 48 hours, and our server keeps only a one-way fingerprint of it. Share the code, or the link to a page that opens Onefold with it already typed in. You will see Connected only when your husband or wife actually has. An invite that is still waiting can be cancelled, a connection can be ended from Settings, and blocking someone ends the connection too.
Nothing to keep up
No streak. No counter to protect. No “you missed last Sunday”. Skip three weeks and Onefold will not bring it up. There is no feed, no ads and no tracking, and nothing you write is public.
One purchase, both of you
Onefold Pro is a single purchase that includes your spouse. Nothing renews, and your spouse is included while the two of you are connected. Pro opens the remaining forty-seven conversations in the library. Connecting, the daily question, the first two in every deck, the Sunday Rundown, every devotional and Read this aloud stay outside it. If you subscribed in an earlier version, that plan is still honoured, and Restore purchase brings it back.

How it actually feels.
It is Sunday evening. Each of you writes the three lines of the rundown on your own phone: what was good, what was heavy, one thing for next week. Once you have both finished, you each read the other's. Earlier in the week you chose a conversation from the library, answered it on your phone, and read your spouse's the day theirs came in.

Has a pastor reviewed the readings?
No. No pastor has reviewed these readings, and Onefold does not claim one has. The claim is that every passage is cited and quoted from a translation you can go and check: the World English Bible, which is public domain. Settings lists every reference.
Is Onefold tied to a denomination?
Onefold is a devotional aid. It is not a church and not pastoral counsel, and traditions read some of these passages differently from one another. Onefold does not settle that for you.
Is Onefold a substitute for our pastor or a counsellor?
No. It is a devotional aid for the two of you, not pastoral counsel or counselling. For anything genuinely heavy, talk to your own pastor or another qualified person.
How do we connect?
Signing in connects you to no one. When you want to, choose Send my spouse an invite and then Create an invite code. The code works once and lapses after 48 hours, and our server keeps only a one-way fingerprint of it. Share the code or its link. You will see Connected only when your spouse has actually joined. A waiting invite can be cancelled, and a connection can be ended from Settings.
Can we both answer any conversation?
Yes. Choose any conversation from any of the eight decks. Your husband or wife answers on their phone and you answer on yours, and you read each other once both answers are in, on whatever day the second one lands. The first two in each deck need no purchase.
Do both spouses need to pay?
No. Onefold Pro is a single purchase that includes your spouse while the two of you are connected, so just one of you pays. Nothing renews.
Is Onefold Pro a subscription?
No. It is a single purchase with no renewals. If you subscribed under an earlier version, that plan is still honoured, and Restore purchase brings it back. To stop an old plan you no longer want, cancel it in your App Store account.
What is free?
Connecting, the daily question, the first two conversations in every deck, the Sunday Rundown, every devotional and Read this aloud sit outside Pro. Pro opens the remaining forty-seven conversations.
Can we try it before connecting?
Yes. On the welcome screen, Try it without an account opens Onefold with a sample spouse. Connecting needs two real accounts: sign in with Apple, then create an invite code. You can also start alone and bring your spouse in later.
What is Our Record?
Everything the two of you have answered, along with your thank-yous and milestones, kept in one place. You can add your wedding date and Onefold keeps the count of days.
What if we have had a bad week?
Come back round is for starting again after a bad one: say what it is like right now, pick something to open with and choose when you will talk. It is a starting point, not counselling.
Is anything shared publicly?
Nothing is public. There is no feed, no ads and no tracking. What you write is encrypted on the phone you wrote it on, before anything is sent, and Settings has Delete account and data.
